Osool al-Din (Usul Al-din) Institute of Higher Educationis among the oldest private non-profit colleges in Iran stablished in 1996 in Qom. The founderof the institute was the late Sayed MortezaAskari, a highly respected researcher in the historyof Islam with numerousvaluableworks. Very soon, the other branches of the college were established in Tehran, Dizful, Saveh, and recently in Abadan

Currently, Osool al-Din institute, admits undergraduate, and postgraduate student, (includingPh.D.) in a number of disciplines

, with over 1,800 bachelor’s, 600 master’s, and about 40 Ph.D. graduates

An academic library includingover 25000 titles coveringthe required academic resources related to the disciplines mentioned above is available at the institute for professors and students. Our research department publishes two academic journals titled as: Quarterly on the Quranic – Literary Studiesand Journal of Language Teaching, Literature and Linguistics. Also our publisher has published so far over 70 worksmostly in Persian, and in Arabic and English languages as well
